New Student Registration and Information for the 2020-2021 School Year

Welcome to Haydon, New Students and Families! We are excited to welcome you to the Haydon family! Please register as soon as you are able to and we can’t wait to meet you in August!

Please Note: If your student is a rising 1st-4th grader, the online registration will open for you on June 1, 2020.
Our School Registrar is Marisela Murray and she will be the main contact for helping guide you through the registration process. She can be reached at MMurray@mcpsva.org.

Our school is closed through the end of the school year, however, you can still call and leave a message at 571-377-6200. Messages are checked weekly.
If your student is a rising Kindergartener for the 2020-2021 school year, please complete the online registration here: https://www.mcpsva.org/Page/4356
Important Note: If your rising Kindergartener attended Haydon for Pre-Kindergarten during the 2019-2020 school year, the online registration step is not necessary. You only need to turn in an updated shot and physical record to the Haydon office to complete your registration.
If your student attended another US school or daycare last year, please also fill out this Request for Records form so that the Haydon office can receive your student’s academic records from their previous school:
Please email your completed Records Request Form to our Registrar, Marisela Murray, at MMurray@mcpsva.org. This form does not apply to students who are just starting school for the first time or who are new to the country.

Other Helpful Information
Does your student need bus transportation to get to school? To find out your bus stop information, click here and input the address the student will be picked up/dropped off at, then click on Haydon Elementary School. You will then be able to see pick up/drop off time, bus stop location, and bus number. Important Note: This site will currently give you the 2019-2020 bus information. The new bus information for 2020-2021 will not be updated here until August 2020.
Haydon’s 2020-2021 School Supply List is forthcoming and will be communicated this summer.
Curious about how lunch works at MCPS? You can find our price and payment info below as well as the menus here. Be sure to select your school first, and then which menu you’d like to see (Breakfast, Pre-K or lunch)!
- If you would like to apply for Free and Reduced Lunch, that application will open online in July 2020. You may only submit an application once your student is fully registered and has been assigned a Student ID Number.

Si su familia se muda antes del inicio del próximo año escolar en agosto, usted tendrá que verificar a cuál escuela pertenece su nueva dirección. Si ya no pertenece al distrito de Haydon, llene nuestro Formulario para Anular la Registración aquí y se lo mande a nuestra Registradora, Patty Haas, al PHaas@mcpsva.org tan pronto como sea posible, por favor. Esto nos ayuda a planificar para el año que viene.
